Compassion- is being
sympathetic and having concern for those who are suffering and/or misfortunate.
Compassion
is a virtue that allows you to understand and feel for those who are less
fortunate. Being compassionate allows you to really understand what others are
going through and be sympathetic towards them. It allows you to understand them
from their point of view and understand why they do or act the way they do. It
gives you a better understanding of the world around you and what others suffer
through. Being compassionate helps you relate with others and comforts them. If you are not compassionate people will not
be open to you and you won’t be able to understand what someone is going
through. Everyone faces a problem or difficulty in their lives and they are
always looking for someone to help them, but if you aren’t compassionate you
wont be able to understand them and therefore not be able to help them.
Compassion
is a virtue because it makes people feel comfortable around you and lets them
know that you understand where they are coming from. It makes people feel
better because they feel that someone truly cares for them and is concerned for
them. Being compassionate shows that you are caring and will make people want
to be around you. Having compassion gives you the power to understand the
emotions that other people are carrying with them and gives you the opportunity
give them the support they need.
- All compassionate acts are virtuous.
- All supporting acts are compassionate acts.
- Therefore, all supporting acts are virtuous.
Compassion is certainly a great virtue that provides happiness and emotional support for those in need. I think you should also mention how compassion can unify people. I agree that this virtue is helpful to others but, to better support this argument you should definitely use examples from your own life or from stories you have read.
ReplyDeleteCompassion is a key building block when it comes to building relationships with friends/boyfriends/girlfriends and without it they would see you have no enthusiasm and drive towards your goals and themselves. I agree that it makes people feel like you truly do care about them.
