Having the virtue of integrity is a quality that relates to always being honest, and doing the correct thing in situations. A strong moral principle is a key part of integrity in the fact that supporting your good morals and all things that follow would make someone have integrity. Having integrity can be a big component in life on the relationships with others and your ability to communicate. Being dishonest and lying would be an example of a person who does not have integrity. A person who has integrity is able to make relationships with honesty.
Integrity is a virtue because it allows people to be honest with one another and applies to following good morals. Someone who has integrity will be able to live a good honest life that follows guidelines and does not break rules.

Nice choice i agree that Integrity is a really great quality for people to have. I feel you could have elaborated more on what makes integrity virtuous and why you believe people should have integrity.
ReplyDeleteIntegrity is probably one of the most important morals to have in my opinion. Communication is very important to have when dealing with others especially with family, friends and with relationships. In order to have good communication, one must be willing to be honest and truthful, something I stand by personally. I would have liked to see you compare this virtue to one of those we spoke about in class. I think it would have added so much reason for why integrity is such a big deal.
ReplyDeleteEdit on Barbara arguement:
ReplyDelete1. All people who tell the truth are virtuous
2. People who have integrity, always tell the truth
3. Therefore, people who have integrity are virtuous
